First hike of 2026, started clear and sunny and by the time I got to the peak of #Wonhyobong it was snowing and blowing pretty hard! Saw a few groups of kitty cats and three packs of dogs. One group of dogs was trying to catch a squirrel but of course it ran up a tree. Winter is coming so I guess time is gonna be hard for them.

Stargazing near El Paso on La Palma in the Canary Islands. Pictures don’t do it justice, up there suddenly everything is hi-res! I saw Jupiter! The ground around us was black sand, and there were clouds below us. Bit chilly and driving through clouds on a narrow, unlit, windy road was interesting!
