Wandering Ihwa Mural Village 이화 벽화마을 Seoul, Korea

An afternoon walking around north of Dongdaemun (동대문) near Naksan Park (낙산공원). This is an area of older buildings in Seoul undergoing some gentrification, with cafes, galleries and streets painted with lots of colourful murals. A bit of an Insta hotspot, I suppose.

I dropped by a cafe called Gaebbul (개뿔) for a beer on the terrace. From looking down into the street, it seemed a lot of the houses are Japanese in design. I’m guessing from the roof styles.
