First hike of 2026, started clear and sunny and by the time I got to the peak of #Wonhyobong it was snowing and blowing pretty hard! Saw a few groups of kitty cats and three packs of dogs. One group of dogs was trying to catch a squirrel but of course it ran up a tree. Winter is coming so I guess time is gonna be hard for them.

First hike of 2026, started clear and sunny and by the time I got to the peak of #Wonhyobong it was snowing and blowing pretty hard! Saw a few groups of kitty cats and three packs of dogs. One group of dogs was trying to catch a squirrel but of course it ran up a tree. Winter is coming so I guess time is gonna be hard for them.

Saw Montana de Tejina and the gorge cliff from the Airbnb so hiked it with @khawkes42 Boxing Day morning. Fantastic weather. Really rugged landscape and an impressive gorge to walk atop of then down and through to the other side. The deep shadows of the winter sun meant the photos aren’t clear enough to see the gorge and cliffs that well. Great hike!

Really rugged landscape and an impressive gorge to walk atop of then down and through to the other side.
