Mountain streams & food Gyeryongsan 계룡산 계곡

DAY 5 OF OUR 5-DAY, END OF SUMMER ROAD-TRIP

On our last day in this area, we decided to go to more mountain streams since yesterday was so fantastic. This time we went to an area on the side of the mountain near our vacation place. We dropped by another temple then kept heading up to a small waterfall, where Romana could spot and try to capture fish.

We walked further up to more waterfalls and much bigger pools, big enough to go in entirely and swim! So refreshing and nice. Mountain stream or gully in Korean (계곡) became my new favourite word in Korea!

We need to start our drive back to Seoul and went to the restaurant area near the car park. So many places to choose from! We chose a place with garden seating (서울식당) and views of the mountain, and ordered a large late lunch and a bottle of makgeolli.
