Damjaengi cafe Sanyang-eup Tongyeong 담쟁이 산앙읍

DAY 4 OF 5-DAY stay in Tongyeong

In between my two hikes, I stopped by a nice roadside cafe for some Jujube tea in in Sanyang-eup, a nice village on the south west area of Tongyeong.

Damjengi cafe (담쟁이) had a garden area out front with a view to a mountain. Inside was also very cosy. After my quick speed hike, it was a welcome rest. The jujube tea (대추차) was very thick so I used the spoon to ‘eat’ it! It tasted good.

Next, I headed out of to start my next hike and took photos of a few spots. There were views to a few mountains, a huge, old community tree, and some small roads off of the main road that I’d have enjoyed explored more if not heading to hike. I also passed a quaint looking village school.
