DAY 2 OF 5-DAY stay in Tongyeong

After my Saryangdo hike, I drove a short way west from the ferry harbour to Punghwa-ri (풍화리) to a coffee shop and ‘pension’ that had shown up in a blog as selling good coffee. It’s called Cafe de Antwerp (안트워프커피) and is located right next to a small fishing harbour in a bay. The place is accommodation and coffee shop and looks like a nice place to stay in this part of Tongyeong.

The guy running it was very friendly and he made some excellent drip coffee; I get the impression he takes pride in his coffee at the prep area was filled with lots of coffee making paraphernalia. I enjoyed sitting upstairs looking at the bay with this great tasting coffee so much that I went back on my last day! I think he was a little surprised to see me again.
