DAY 3 OF 5-DAY stay in Tongyeong
After my coastal e-scooter ride, I drove into town to find Nammangsan Sculpture Park and Dongpirang (λνΌλ), one of the mural villages in Tongyeong. It was a gentrified area filled coffee shops and boutiques bt qite a pleasant place to stroll around.
The car parks were jammed, so went a bit out of my way to get some free parking and walked about 15 minutes to the village. I remembered the next day that my transit card works in Tongyeong so avoided driving into town again! The painted walls were very pretty, and because the sun was getting low, walking up the narrow hilly streets and seeing more and more of Tongyeong from up high was really great.
I made a point of finding the highest coffee shop in the area, Luminoso λ£¨λ―Έλ Έμ, which also had a roof garden and chilled with a coffee.
After that, I strolled towards my car and aimed to get to the Nammangsan Sculpture Park. It wasn’t a huge place, but had a few interesting pieces (and it was free and on the way to my car!), so I enjoyed it.
*I ended up going through a different part of this neighbourhood the next day and took some more photos:
After that, I drove back to the hostel, rested a bit then walked out to find some pork soup at 볡λΌμ§κ΅λ°₯, which I thoroughly enjoyed!
