I took a trip to Chungju Lake and Danyang. The first day was mostly in Chungcheon and the rest of the trip was exploring Danyang, which included hiking Seobaeksan, driving to a huge temple, and watching paragliders while sat at a coffee shop in the surrounding hills.
DAY 4 OF 4-DAY TRIP to Chungju Lake & Danyang
I drove up the hills in Danyang to the area where people do paragliding from. Then on my way back to Seoul, I drove about an hour to a museum I’ve been meaning to see for a while.
A Walk in the Clouds
The drive up the hill was windy and pretty cool. I went to A Walk in the Clouds coffee shop which was also a pension and had a garden looking out to the valley and hills in the distance. I had a very pleasant morning coffee while watching the nutters paragliding down into the valley. Actually, it looked quite relaxing so maybe I’ll give it a go. I also watched the trucks come racing back up and down the windy hill roads picking up their stuff and a new batch of punters.
Then I set off to Museum San.
