Songdo beach Busan 송도

Day 3 of 3-day trip to Busan

We started the day with a wander to a beach via a cool bridge. We had a relaxing coffee then found mussels and fought with the seagulls before heading to colouful Gamcheon and some gopchang a bit later.

We packed up our stuff from the accommodation and headed into town. While waiting for a bus transfer we explored a cool looking orange bridge.

Once we got to Songdo beach, we had a coffee and cake for breakfast. It’s a small beach with a bit of sand and some rocks a bit further out plus a walkway over the sea.

On the rocks we found lots of small mussels and a statue of a mermaid related to an old piece of Korean folklore. From here we had a good view of the Songdo cable car. It was a bit windy, so we didn’t go.
