Jeju Stone Park 제주돌문화공원

DAY 6 OF MY SOLO, 6-DAY JEJU ROAD TRIP – :o(
Guadians
Stone Park

On the way to the airport, I dropped by Jeju Stone Park. It’s a park, art gallery, and geological history museum. There are beautiful rocks places all around this massive place and some striking looking architecture surrounded by nearby oreums. Well worth a few hours of your time and 5,000 won.

I thought I’d save time after I got to the car park by cutting through the giant stone mounds at the front end of the park; big mistake! Not only is there no way through, I almost took a tumble climbing over some piled rocks, and ended up walking along a wall to get back to where I needed to be! FYI, the walls are not meant to be walked on since they are basically two piles of stone with dirt in between and not that stable. I’m lucky I didn’t bring the whole thing down..
