Romana and I took a day trip to Chuncheon. In one part, we went to the entrance of Samaksan (삼악산) to look at the Deungseon (등선폭포) streams and waterfalls.

You need to pay a small fee to get in, then the trail goes through a narrow canyon upstream and there are quite a few waterfall areas. These are all inviting in the heat! And people were taking advantage of the cool water.

We could see more walkways and trails going on up to the peak of Samaksan, but for today, we were happy enjoying the water.

On the way out, we stopped for raw fish and makgeolli at a great restaurant. It had been built (expanded?) over the entrance to the trail. It was a real quaint overload experience! Deungseon Hyugeseo (등선휴게소)

I intend to return to do the hike to the top one day.
