  • Cueva de Poris de la Candelaria. Old pirate village in a cave on the west side of La Palma island in the Canaries, Spain. Driving to the nearest parking lot takes ages (and nerve) as it’s extremely winding and steep! A very unusual place.
  • Our New Year’s Eve was a 10-to-12 rush to a bar from Helsinki airport on our 20-hour layover. Some random Finnish shots were recommended and drunk. The next day was spent wandering the town. Two salmon sandwiches and one salmon soup. Nice city. Wasn’t attacked by a Moomin but came close
  • First hike of 2026, started clear and sunny and by the time I got to the peak of #Wonhyobong it was snowing and blowing pretty hard! Saw a few groups of kitty cats and three packs of dogs. One group of dogs was trying to catch a squirrel but of course it ran up a tree. Winter is coming so I guess time is gonna be hard for them.

First hike of 2026, started clear and sunny and by the time I got to the peak of #Wonhyobong it was snowing and blowing pretty hard! Saw a few groups of kitty cats and three packs of dogs. One group of dogs was trying to catch a squirrel but of course it ran up a tree. Winter is coming so I guess time is gonna be hard for them.
