After hiking a little around Bukhansan, I came across one of the nicest coffee shops in Seoul, Pointvill Cafe (포인트빌)
It was a warm day for my Monday hike, so I took it easy. I did a little bit of the Bukhansan Dullegil trail on the west side of the mountain. Wanting refreshment, I searched Naver Maps for a place to get coffee that had a garden and walked a bit of a way to Pointvill (포인트빌).
Simply a stunning place; the views from the garden of the west side of Bukhansan are completely open and it’s quite breathtaking. Go on a day with clear skies and you’ll be amazed. At least, I was!
There’s a nice garden area out front with flower beds and shady trees. They also have (or had?) a large vegetable growing area, with tomatoes and other veg, plus a big lawn and more seating behind the main building.
The interior is nice too if the cold weather keeps you indoors.
I’ve been a few times since, alone, with my parents, and with Romana. They were all similarly impressed. Here’s time I went with Romana in 2022.
