Veranda Cafe lies in an olde refurbished hanok house in the backstreets of the Seoul government area. It’s in the area across the road from Gyeongbokgung Palace and near Gwanghwamun Square.
I discovered it on the lookout for somewhere cosy to read while waiting for a bus home. Inside is decorated nicely with knick-knacks. There is a small library in the back room.
They serve regular coffees and teas, plus a small selection of food. I didn’t sit outside because it was full while I was there. I took a few photos after they left.
