DAY 5 OF MY SOLO, 6-DAY JEJU ROAD TRIP
This is a massive cedar tree forest east of Hallasan. There’s a trail that runs north to south, then east and will take between three to four hours. There’s parking at the north and east gate and it’s free to get in. I think it will take about 3 or 4 hours to walk the whole trail; I only stayed for an hour or so at the eastern end, since it was getting dark.
Serene beauty and another popular photo spot; I saw a couple of wedding shoots going on there!
Also of interest were the four horse-mounted Jeju police officers. I never would have imagined Jeju Mounties! I got video but not photos.
It’s very peaceful and makes a change not to see pine trees and pampas grass.
