Cafe Gyum (or Cafe Gyeom 카페겸) specialises in drip coffee and roasted beans. I found it a few weeks ago exploring my new neighbourhood looking for a decent place to read, work and enjoy coffee. This fits the bill!

They have a range of beans available and they make good drip coffee. If you buy a bag of 200 grams of whole beans, you get a free Americano! Also, it’s worth translating the menu… they offer refills for 2,000 won within two hours (if you keep your receipt)!

The closest subway is Jeungsan Station on Line 6. It’s next to Bulgwangcheon river (불광천) in Bukgajwa (북가좌) in north eastern Seoul. It starts on the second floor and has a third and fourth floor with the outside. Cafe Gyum is pleasant and spacious with nice natural light.
