Day 6 of 9-day trip to Japan

At the end of our trip to Arashiyama, we stopped at a really cool coffee shop called Hirose.

It was populated by middle-aged and older guys sitting at the counter reading papers and chatting to the owner, a kindly faced old man operating a range of glass coffee contraptions. Very interesting. We got some drip coffees and some sweet snacks and watched the scene in front of us.
